Charges to be filed in fatal church bus crash

Charges will be filed against the driver of a church bus that crashed in Hancock County –killing a 6-year-old boy. The bus from St. Jude Deliverance Family Worship Church in Gary went off Interstate 70 near Greenfield, hit a tree and rolled over. 11 people were on board. Police say the boy, Jacob Williams and the 53-year-old driver of the bus were ejected from the vehicle. The bus rolled on top of the driver, Charles Goodman, but he was airlifted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police say Goodman was driving with a suspended license and was wanted on an active arrest warrant out of Lake County for failing to appear in court for a traffic offense.
