Silas “Bill” Conley, 90, of Washington, passed away Monday at 9:04 a.m. at Eastgate Nursing Center.
Bill was born Sept. 18, 1924, in Washington, to William and Wilma (Wilkerson) Conley.
He loved spending time with the children at the Little League baseball park.
He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Donald Conley, Bernie Conley, Jack Conley, Frank Conley, Charles “Pee Wee” Conley; and four sisters, Thelma Foster, Ann Conley, Josephine Hooten, and Elizabeth James.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
