Sheriff’s logs say personnel at Daviess Community Hospital’s ER informed authorities of an accidental shooting.
Last night at 7:30-pm officers learned a man had been at the Old Bed off of Old Vincennes Road. He had apparently tried to holster a gun at his ankle when he accidentally shot himself in the ankle.
In another police report…… workers at the Chuckles Convenience Store at 4th and Walnut reported a drive off of 20$ in gasoline. It happened at 1:15 Sunday afternoon. The female motorist was last seen headed north on 57.
