Indiana Governor Mike Pence is coming through the area today.
He’s scheduled to be in Vincennes joining executives from Franklin Well Services, a provider of oil well servicing for an economic development announcement. The announcement will take place at Pioneer Oils offices at 400 Main Street around 11:15 a.m.
Then he is scheduled to be in Washington for lunch. A news release says the governor has been craving a White Steamer burger. He’ll then head to Dubois County. On his way back north this evening, Pence will be making an appearance at the Daviess County Lincoln Day Dinner. The event tonight also features State Senator Jim Merrit, State Senator Eric Bassler and Mayor Joe Wellman.
