Police continue to investigate a weekend homicide in Vincennes.
City Police responded Saturday morning to an unresponsive male at 810 North 6th. Upon arrival, 55-year-old Christopher J. Melton was found deceased. According to reports, he died on a gunshot wound to the head and it was determined to have been murder. No arrests have been made and no other information is being released at this time.
