Joseph W. Bynum, 70, of Washington, passed away Tuesday at 6:52 p.m. at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville.
He was born Nov. 15, 1944, to Otis John and Nora Ellen (Thomas) Bynum.
Surviving are sons Tim Bynum of Washington, Billy Ray Truelove of California, and Rhett Wayne Truelove of Florida; brother David Bynum of Washington; sisters Yvonne Bynum, Ester Grove and Ruth Conrad, all of Washington; grandchildren Ian Robling, McKenzie Sharp, Halley Mumma, Joezie Mumma, Aarow Truelove, Tru Truelove, and Railam Haig, Nathan Eric Bynum, Mason Bynum and Dustin Bynum; and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by brothers Samuel Bynum and John Bynum; and a sister, Norma Fleck.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary, with Rev. Wayne Neeley officiating. Burial will follow in New Veale Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
