Man runs and is caught and a traffic stop ends in possession and OWI charges.

 

A Washington man was jailed on a $100,000 bond on Tuesday  on a warrant. 49-year-old Roger McCord was picked up by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence.

At just before 5-pm on Tuesday, Washington Police saw 36-year-old Jonathan Waggoner of Washington around Main and Meridian.  Knowing he was wanted on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence, police were keeping an eye on him when he apparently began running.  He was apprehended behind the Ford Dealership and now faces new charges of resisting law enforcement, and possession of a syringe.

A traffic stop in Washington Tuesday resulted in the arrest of 28-year-old Jason Hubbard.  He was jailed for operating while intoxicated with a controlled substance, OWI involving endangerment, driving while suspended, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.
