A 16 year old girl was flown to an Evansville Hospital after being struck by a vehicle near Odon.
Accident reports say that at 4:53-pm Sunday, 16-year-old Seth Cornelius of Loogootee pulled into a driveway at 11898 County Road 900-north. Two passengers got out and were standing in the driveway. 16-year-old Kayla R. Knepp knelt down to pet a dog and then laid down in the driveway with the dog. Cornelius then attempted to turn around when the front passenger side wheel struck Knepp’s head. Police reports say she suffered bleeding to the left side of the head.
She was transported from the scene by ambulance and later flown by Air Evac to Deaconess in Evansville for her injuries.
