Washington and Daviess County authorities investigated a battery case Saturday night.
It happened at 1301 West Walnut. When police arrived after the report they found Michael Gerbig II bleeding and blood on a doorknob. A man at the scene was taken into custody and another barricaded himself in the home according to police logs. The home was surrounded and in the end Gerbig was arrested for disorderly conduct. Darrell Clark was charged with battery and disorderly conduct. Police reports say Louis Gerbig was longformed on disorderly conduct charges.
